Ebisu

shibuya 1 Ebisu, centred around JR Ebisu, Ebisu is well connected via the Yamonate line and Tokyo Metro Hibiya line which offers direct access to Roppongi. There are many restaurants and cafes around the station, with numerous traditional establishments in the surrounding streets. Ebisu sky walk connects the train station with Ebisu Garden Place, a mix-used development that was formerly the factory site of Sapporo breweries. Ebisu is a high-class neighbourhood and with excellent transport links and a traditional yet modern atmosphere, Ebisu is a highly attractive place to stay

Daikanyama

shibuya 2 Daikanyama is a polished and relaxed part of town with a reputation for café culture and trendy boutiques. An upscale neighbourhood popular with expats, the area is home to numerous modern low-rise architecture. Daikanyama station is just one stop from the Shibuya transit hub, but equally, JR Ebisu is easily accessible on foot.

Omotesando

shibuya 3 Omotesando is well known for its trendy street of high fashion boutiques surrounded by restaurants and cafes, with the Omotesando Hills shopping complex at its centre. The neighbourhood, built on undulating hills, is quiet and is particularly popular amongst expats. Compared to some of the other Shibuya neighbourhoods, Omotesando has a higher concentration of single-family homes – you will find affluent families living here. Also in the neighbourhood is the Aoyama Gakuin University, a private university widely recognized as one of the leading universities in Japan. Omotesando has a metro station with numerous train lines running through.

Yoyogi

shibuya 4 Yoyogi is a quiet, understated neighbourhood located at the northern part of Shibuya-ku and is just south of the Shinjuku shopping and entertainment district. Immediately outside JR Yoyogi station and the adjoining lanes are lined with local restaurants, with the trendy Yoyogi village F&B area tucked behind some office buildings. Yoyogi Park and the Meiji Jingu shrine are just a short walk away. Yoyogi has excellent train connections with the Yamanote line and Oedo line.

shibuya 5 While each of the neighbourhoods within Shibuya have their distinctive character, they are trendy, and are popular both with the affluent across locals and internationals. Demand for properties in Shibuya-ku has historically been strong with limited new supply. Occupancy has historically been high and depending on age, apartments go on sale between the 3%-5% yield range. Overall, Shibuya-ku apartments are highly appealing as an investment.
