Centre of commerce and politics
Where many of the important buildings are! Imperial palace, Diet building, prime minister’s office and supreme court. Home to electric town (Akihabara) too!
Major office district. Residential neighbourhoods are luxurious yet local.
Centred around Tokyo station, Chiyoda-ku offers excellent connectivity with direct Shinkansen lines to major Japanese cities including Kyoto and Osaka and numerous metro lines.
Detached houses, low rise apartments and some new build high rise apartments
Chiyoda-ku’s central and prime location and ease of accessing the major office area around Tokyo station is its major appeal. It is also known to be a high-end neighbourhood. There is limited new supply of apartments here and historical has a high occupancy rate. Overall a high-quality city for properties but will come at a price, especially new developments and detached properties.
